Amy Restko Promoted to Vice President, Engagement Strategy at AbelsonTaylor Group
AbelsonTaylor Group today announced the promotion of Amy Restko to Vice President, Engagement Strategy.
A strategic leader with expertise in behavioral insights, omnichannel strategy, and customer engagement, Restko has played a pivotal role in advancing AbelsonTaylor Group’s engagement strategy capabilities and helping clients navigate increasingly complex healthcare landscapes. Since joining the agency in 2016, she has held a variety of planning and engagement strategy roles, consistently earning recognition for her innovative thinking, collaborative leadership, and measurable business impact.
In her new role, Restko will continue leading integrated engagement strategies across the agency’s healthcare portfolio, partnering closely with planning, creative, media, analytics, and account teams to develop connected customer experiences that drive meaningful behavior change and business growth. She will also continue to help shape the agency’s evolving omnichannel and customer experience capabilities while mentoring and developing emerging talent across the organization.
“Amy’s move from Planning to Engagement Strategy marked a bold step, and she quickly proved her ability to lead and innovate,” said Lynnette Hunter, EVP, Director of Client Services. “From the outset, she brought new ideas and structure to a team in need of guidance, demonstrating her ambition and readiness for the challenge. Amy consistently challenges the status quo, elevates our discipline, and inspires everyone around her through both her strategic thinking and her service-first leadership approach.”
Restko has been instrumental in shaping omnichannel engagement strategies for major healthcare brands, and throughout her career, Restko has distinguished herself as both a strategist and a builder of organizational capability. She developed AbelsonTaylor Group’s IncubATor Sessions, a professional development initiative designed to help junior and mid-level strategists expand their skills and explore emerging approaches in behavioral science, AI, collaboration, and innovation. She has also codified omnichannel engagement frameworks, customer experience mapping tools, and workshop methodologies that continue to strengthen the agency’s strategic offering across multiple brands and teams.
In addition to her client work, Restko is recognized as an influential leader within the healthcare marketing industry. She was named a 2024 Clio Health Innovator and will receive PM360’s 2026 ELITE Strategist Award. In 2025, she was also honored with a Women of Distinction Woman to Watch award.
A passionate advocate for mentorship, inclusion, and community engagement, Restko is an active leader in the agency’s Psychological Safety initiative, which earned the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association’s 2023 ACE Aspire Award. She also chairs the agency’s Hearts AT Work corporate social responsibility program and serves on the Auxiliary Board of Chicago’s Off the Street Club.
Restko earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Business Communication and a Master of Science in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Earlier in her career, she worked in research and strategy roles at Edelman, as well as through internships with Leo Burnett and Glass Box Research.
