AbelsonTaylor Group Announces the 2026 Class of nextgenerATion Summer Interns
Leading healthcare advertising and marketing firm AbelsonTaylor Group has selected nine students and recent graduates for its 2026 nextgenerATion summer internship program. The 10-week paid internship provides hands-on experience across one of advertising’s most dynamic and impactful sectors—healthcare and life sciences.
“We continue to see strong interest from students who want to build meaningful careers in healthcare marketing,” said Jeff Berg, President of AbelsonTaylor Group. “Our nextgenerATion program gives interns real-world exposure to pharma, biotech, medical device, and health and wellness brands. It’s immersive, collaborative, and designed to help them develop the strategic, creative, and analytical skills that define this industry.”
Interns work alongside teams across the agency—including Creative (Copy and Art), Integrated Production, Project Management, Engagement Strategy, Media, Interactive Development, Marketing Intelligence, and Clinical Research—contributing to active client work and ad hoc projects.
In addition to department assignments, interns collaborate on a summer-long group project that culminates in a company-wide presentation to the agency.
“Our goal is to create an environment where interns feel empowered to ask questions, take initiative, and see how their contributions make an impact,” said Beth Bogacz, Senior Vice President of People Experience at AbelsonTaylor Group. “Our nextgenerATion program is built around mentorship, inclusion, and meaningful work. We want participants to leave with stronger skills, deeper industry knowledge, and professional relationships that support their long-term growth.”
The program also serves as a valuable talent pipeline for the agency. Over the past three years, AbelsonTaylor Group has extended full-time offers to 28 percent of its summer interns.
The 2026 nextgenerATion interns are:
- Stella Wright, Engagement Strategist Intern – Loyola University Chicago (Advertising & Public Relations major; Marketing minor) Atlanta, GA
- Milla Kutsin, Art Director Intern – University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Advertising major; Art & Design minor), Grayslake, Illinois
- Kyra Doherty, Marketing Intelligence Intern – Northwestern University (Major: Communication Studies, Minors: Data Science, Business Institutions, Certificate: Integrated Marketing), Elm Grove, Wisconsin

The program which runs from June 1 through August 7 follows a flexible hybrid schedule, with interns working on-site at least three days per week, providing opportunities for face-to-face mentorship and collaboration with managers and peers.
Throughout the summer, interns will also meet with department leaders to learn more about the company’s history, capabilities, and culture, and will participate in agency events—including AbelsonTaylor Group’s annual summer celebration.
